Forget Valentine’s Day – the hottest action this February will be at London’s Village Underground this Friday. That’s when everyone’s favourite Parisian electronic label Kitsuné will be taking over the venue for one of their fabled French Kiss parties, and it’s looking like one of their most spectacular line-ups to date.
Taking place three days before old St Valentine’s birthday, a sublime selection of artists and DJs will be seducing the sold-out crowd from 21:30 till 04:00. Heading the bill is Manchester’s Karma Kid, who’s been impressing the likes of Disclosure of late, alongside the fine French house of Zimmer, formidable Brighton boy Fono and rising Australian producer Young Franco. A live set by Zimbabwe-born, Adelaide-based rapper Tkay Maidza (who recently collaborated with Killer Mike) is sure to be a highlight, while Taiwanese-Canadian producer Pat Lok promises to win the hearts of all with his polished future-pop.
We’ve got two tickets to give away to Kitsuné’s French Kiss, so that you and a date (or mate) can enjoy all the action for free – not bad considering advance tickets are already sold out. To enter simply send an email marked FRENCH KISS to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll announce the winner on Thursday evening.
Until then, stick on the latest mix by Young Franco (below) and get the party started early…
